The Valley salutes to Veterans! Here's a look at some events, freebies and the forecast for Veterans Day Weekend.
The 98th annual Veterans Day Parade kicks off Saturday morning in Downtown Fresno. It's the largest Veterans Day Parade west of the Mississippi. The parade begins at 11 a.m. in front of Fresno City Hall. CBS47s Joe Moeller has a preview from Downtown Fresno below:
Several eateries are offering free meals/beverages to Veterans Friday and/or Saturday. They include: Applebee's, Buffalo Wild Wings, California Pizza Kitchen, Denny's, Dunkin' Donuts and Dutch Bros among others. Check with your local location for details.
Yosemite National Park is offering free admission this weekend in honor of Veterans Day. Fees for camping, lodging and other activities still apply.
