BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - UPDATE: All lanes have reopened Wednesday morning after a multi-vehicle collision shut the roadway down Tuesday night. According to Caltrans traffic was backed up approximately 8 miles early Wednesday morning.

A semi crash has closed all northbound lanes of Interstate 5 just south of the Grapevine Tuesday night.
The crash was first reported around 9 p.m.
According to the traffic incident page, as many as 11 other vehicles may be involved.
CHP says two semi truck have caught on fire. It appears one of the semi trucks is burning to the ground.
At this time there is no word on the number of people injured.
