Reward in random shootings case reaches $10,000

The reward Crime Stoppers is offering for information in the series of random shootings in Fresno and Madera counties is now $10,000.

On Thursday, Harris Farms donated $3,000 to Valley Crime Stoppers to raise the reward for information leading to an arrest in the ongoing random roadway shooting case.

The only way callers can claim the reward is by calling Crime Stoppers at 559-498-7867.

There have been 10 incidents so far of a suspect firing at passing vehicles. One person has been injured in the case.

The last random shooting happened on Dec. 17.
