Despite her age, Larisa Morales is the greatest new talent to hit the wakeboarding scene.
Born in Monterrey, Mexico, she started wakeboarding at just six years old thanks to her brother Héctor who took her to her first wakeboarding session.
Larisa has been experimenting with all sorts of tricks and maneuvers on water since she started out.
Now known as "the girl who walks on water", the young talent counts the female pioneers of wakeboarding - Dallas Friday, Amber Wing and Harley Clifford - as amongst her main influences, who have no doubt contributed to helping Larisa develop her talent over recent years.
To date, Larisa has racked up a number of accolades in her short career, including scooping best trick at Wakefest 2010 at Valle de Bravo and first place at the Mexican Wake Tour 2010 in the junior category.
With a second place at the 2010 WWA World Championship in the girls' category, more recently, Larisa won the 2012 World Championship title in the Junior Women's division and came second at the IWWF World Wakeboard Championships in 2013.
For the future, her sights remain firmly set on achieving legendary status within her sport.
