Police search for suspect who robbed Northeast Fresno Rite Aid

FRESNO, California - Fresno police are searching for a suspect, one of four, who police say robbed a northeast Fresno Rite Aid store.

It happened at Bullard and First. Three of the suspects have been taken into custody. Police say the men assaulted two employees and stole drugs and money.

Surveillance footage of that arrest was caught by a neighbor.

After the men ran out of the pharmacy police say a witness saw them get into a car with a fourth person. That witness followed them and gave police updates.

Officials say the suspects made it to Alluvial and Arthur, where they ditched the car.

The store employees have minor injuries; police say if it weren't for the witness who followed, the suspects may have escaped.

Police also say this crime could possibly be connected to other pharmacy robberies in Northern California.
