SELMA, California - Authorities are investigating the shooting death of a 22-year-old Selma man on Thursday, the Selma Police Department said.
Officers responded to the 2600 block of Chaparal Lane just after 3 a.m. for a call of shots being fired.
When they arrived to the house, they found the man dead inside his home, Police Chief Greg Garner said.
Several people were in the home at the time of the shooting, and the investigation is ongoing.
The shooting appeared to happen at the front door of the home.
No other information was immediately available.
