Photo of Car Could Lead to New Clues in Double Homicide

FRESNO, Calif. - Take a look at this truck - it's a big clue to murder case out of Fresno. The Fresno County Sheriff's Office needs your help to find it, because it could be tied to an unsolved double homicide.

Jennifer DuPras, who was 55-years old, and her 88-year old mother Cynthia Houk, were shot and killed last December in Houk's home near Bullard and Palm. No arrests have been made.

"It's a case, it's lives, it's families that are impacted, and we want the answers," stated Tony Botti, the public information officer for the Fresno County Sheriff's Office.

Botti said they've received multiple tips, including several surveillance videos from the area.

He commented, "And it was through combing through all those images, we found this white pick-up truck that kinda stood out here close to this home, so that's what we're trying to get more information about."

Botti said the truck just didn't belong.

"Based upon this vehicle just really not adding up with being with all the other vehicles that are in the neighborhood," stated Botti.

Sheriff detectives want to know who's truck it is, and who's the driver.

DuPras was going through a divorce at the time of her murder, and had been staying with her mother. DuPras' estranged husband has been questioned, but has not been named a suspect. DuPras' daughter, Alison, told us back in January that it's been a struggle to live with few answers to her mother and grandmother's deaths.

Alison said, "Definitely praying every day for an arrest. It's definitely something that I think will bring peace a little bit, and closure."

If you recognize the truck, or know who the driver is, contact the FCSO immediately.
