New Central Valley restaurant offers an extensive vegan menu to choose from

Naomi Hendrix the owner of Raw Fresno has been in the healthy food business for more than seven years.
 
"Its called Raw because it is alive and bioavailable for our bodies to receive the nutrients."
 
Hendrix rolled into the business world with a food truck where she offered a variety of vegan options to choose from.
 
"Now we put the fresh cucumbers."
 
About a month ago she finally opened a location in downtown Fresno. A dream she says started after the death of her son due to an intestine disease.
 
"He died 11 years ago of celiac disease and that's why I become aware of what food is doing to us."
 
Raw Fresno offers a complete menu of your favorite meals such as pizza, peanut butter sandwiches, but with a healthy twist.
 
"We call this veggie pizza."
 
The restaurant uses vegetables and different spices to create their goods and does not sell any meat or poultry.
 
The new business has many vegetarians such as Francis Anderson feeling thankful that they can finally go to a place that serves their green preference.
 
"I don't eat meat and Fresno is just starting to get more vegetarian is hard in this town," said Anderson.
 
Naomi Hendrix hopes that Raw Fresno encourages others to live healthier.
 
"I love it I don't know what else I would want to do."
