Man stabbed to death in Selma identified

SELMA, California - The man stabbed to death in Selma on Tuesday has been identified.

The 911 call came around 5:30 a.m., and police say the caller came across a disturbance in the alley on McCall avenue between Tulare and Arrants streets.

When police arrived, they located Cory Smith, 26, of Selma, with stab wounds.

He was taken to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno where he was pronounced dead.
