Man arrested for allegedly robbing pizzeria, punching worker

FRESNO, Calif. - A violent robbery suspect was arrested after Fresno police said he punched a Little Ceasars worker and stole a pizza.

It happened just before 1 p.m. Saturday at Little Caesars at Fresno & B Streets near downtown Fresno.

Police said witnesses provided them with a good description of the suspect.

Officers located David Tejeda, 29, a few blocks away.

Police said after Tejeda stole the pizza, he walked out and returned a second time to steal a drink from the refrigerator.

Tejeda was booked into the Fresno County Jail on robbery, assault and theft charges.
