Suspect charges $15,000 on stolen credit card

Fresno police need your help finding a man who charged more than $15,000 on a stolen credit card.
Fresno police need your help to find the man who went on a spending spree with a stolen credit card.

He bought more than $15,000 worth of merchandise at several stores, including $9,000 at a jewelry store.

The suspect was using what's called a copied credit card; the owner still has the original.

Police say one way to combat credit thieves is to check your credit score regularly and you can set up alerts for large purchases with most most banks and credit card companies.

If you recognize the man, you're asked to contact the Fresno Police Department or call Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-STOP.
