Another candidate has entered California's 16th District Senate race.
Republican John Estrada threw his hat in the ring on Friday.
Estrada said, "The biggest thing is that we have an arrogant government on the state level and the national level. And so as your representative in Sacramento, I want to make sure the people are truly represented."
Estrada says he wants to fight crime, build better water resources, and get more people back to work.
Estrada is running for the seat vacated by Michael Rubio who resigned from the Senate to take a job with Chevron.
