Fresno Based Non-Profit Receives Global Recognition for Work Overseas

A Fresno based non-profit is receiving recognition for the work they do overseas. Five years ago, a group of doctors and developers from Fresno opened up a hospital in Afghanistan. Now, one of the nurses from Afghanistan has been honored by the Dalai Lama--one of only 51 people in the world to receive this award. As Raquel Cervantes reports, Central Valley residents are impacting others a world away.
