PORTERVILLE, California - A Porterville chocolate shop is keeping a rich tradition alive.
Stafford's Chocolates has handmade gourmet chocolate for over 30 years. The shop uses nuts, dairy, fruit and honey from the Valley in their sweets.
Founder Larry Stafford learned how to make chocolate from a 90-year-old European chocolatier. Mr. Stafford has passed away, but the shop now owned by the Taylor family, continues his tradition and old-fashioned way of making chocolate.
