One Person Dead In Two-Alarm House Fire

A person is dead, following a two-alarm house fire in Fresno Monday.

According to Deputy Fresno Fire Chief Todd Tuggle, the fire happened in the area of Huntington and 10th Avenue. The person's has yet to be identified, according to Tuggle.

According to Tuggle, firefighters responded to the blaze, after a neighbor saw smoke. 28 personnel battled the blaze, which Tuggle said began in a bedroom, and later extended to the attic.

Tuggle said they are investigating whether the house was vacant or occupied at the time of the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
