The citrus harvest season is lasting longer than expected in Tulare County, despite the December freeze. According to Ca Citrus Mutual, growers have plenty of fruit to pack and crop damage is minimal, compared to other parts of the Valley. Still, there was some significant losses in places like Ivanhoe and Terra Bella. The air was a little colder there and it devastated a lot of younger trees. Moving forward, growers are worried about the future without water.
