A family with a baby was involved in a collision Friday evening on Shaw Avenue and Garfield in Fresno County. According to the California Highway Patrol a man and woman from kerman were in a car with their baby daughter traveling north on Garfield. The driver reportedly failed to stop at the intersection of Shaw, and they were hit by a car going west on Shaw. The family's car wound up rolling on it's side. Two people were in the other car sustained serious injuries. "The vehicle that was westbound on shaw got major front end traffic collision damage and both occupants of that vehicle ended up being transported to CRMC with major injuries", according to Officer Raul Gonzalez of the California Highway Patrol. The family with the baby sustained only minor injuries. The CHP says alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
