Fresno Unified librarian technician arrested in sex assault of two students

FRESNO, Calif. - A librarian technician in Fresno Unified was arrested Thursday on charges of sexual assault of two Fresno Unified high school students, the Fresno Police Department said.

Cameron Ward, 25, of Fresno, worked as a librarian technician at an Elementary school for Fresno Unified School District.

During the investigation of the first teenaged victim, a second teenaged victim was found, police said.

Ward met the two victims during the 2013-14 school year, and it was during the 2014-15 school year that Ward assaulted one of the victims, according to police. Ward also sent inappropriate sexual photos to one of the victims, police said.

Ward was arrested at the school without incident and booked into Fresno County Jail on sexual assault related charges.
