FRESNO, California - Today the Fresno County Board of Supervisors proclaimed February 6, as "Fresno State Football Day" and "Coach Jeff Tedford Day".
They said this is in recognition of the Bulldog's successful football season and their victory at the Hawaii Bowl. After going 1 and 11, Tedford helped lead the dogs to a 10 and 4 season with a bowl win.
"A great honor for our team, our program, the university. After having a great season, it's great to be recognized like that. A lot of hard work goes into it and really all the credit goes to the players and coaching staff for working so hard," said coach Tedford.
The supervisors say they're looking forward to another big win next season.
