IVANHOE, California - A citrus farmer wants to bring a new kind of tourism to the Central Valley.
McKellar Family Farms was founded in Ivanhoe 90 years ago. Robert McKellar, better known as "Farmer Bob,'' is a third generation citrus farmer. In the past few years, the 86-year-old has welcomed visitors to his farm to share the importance of Valley agriculture.
Farmer Bob leads tours on a wagon through his nearly 200 acres of citrus trees. His wit and wisdom make for a fun lesson. CBS47s Alex Backus reports how he's hoping to bring agritourism to the Central Valley.
