Crews work to restore large power outage

Fresno - Thousands of people in Northwest Fresno are without power this morning.

PG&E tells us a car hit a transmission tower at North Emerson and Marks Avenue around 1 a.m.

Crews have been working to restore the electricity.

Initially about 70,000 people were without power. PG&E says that number is at about 26,000. 

They could not tell us when power would be fully restored.
