Building on Mt. Whitney High campus burns

Estimated $1.5 Million in damage done in the fire

Visalia, California - A building goes up in flames on the campus of Mt. Whitney High School in Visalia Monday evening as fire crews arrived in less than two minutes after responding to a fire alarm. School officials say one of the Ag buildings on campus burned which houses the auto shop which is believed to be a complete loss. Nobody was hurt, but fire crews say early estimates put the damage at $1.5 Million. School will resume as scheduled.
