Breaking News: Double Murder In Woodward Lake Development

Suspect On The Loose, Chief Dyer On Scene

Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer is on the scene of double murder in Northeast Fresno.  The crime occurred shortly after 8PM on the 10,000 block of Grouse Fresno's Woodward Lake Development.  Officers arrived at the crime scene to find two deceased males, both age 20, one Caucasian and one African American.  The men were reportedly on the roadway and sidewalk. Dyer says three men were together when the crime occurred, one pulled out a gun and shot the other two to death.  He then sped off southbound on Grouse Run.  Chief Dyer is not giving a description of the suspect vehicle.  The Fresno Police Department's Special Response Team is now securing the scene and making sure there are no other suspects in the neighborhood.  The City Of Fresno Has now had 55 murders so far this year, as opposed to 38 at this time last year.
