Arsenal of guns, ammunition found in Tollhouse barn

Suspect arrested

FRESNO COUNTY, California - Fresno County Sheriff's deputies have located over two dozen guns inside a barn in Tollhouse.

Deputies arrested 42-year-old Bryan Stark and his girlfriend 39-year-old Jeana McMahon.
Stark faces several felony charges related to being a felon in possession of guns, ammunition and large capacity magazines.

On March 12, deputies responded to the 3300 block of Lodge Road in Tollhouse for reports of an assault with a deadly weapon. Deputies say the man who made the report was Stark's friend. He says Stark pointed a gun at his head, threatened to kill him and accused him of stealing.

Deputies arrived on scene and contacted both Stark and McMahon; during a search of their property deputies found a total of 24 guns-handguns and rifles. They also located large capacity magazines and ammunition. Deputies say several of the guns were in a safe hidden under the floor of the barn.

They also say Stark is a regular user of methamphetamine; he and his girlfriend live inside the barn.

Stark and McMahon were booked into the Fresno County Jail. McMahon was later released from jail after receiving a misdemeanor citation for obstructing an officer's investigation.

Anyone with additional information on Stark or McMahon is asked to contact Sheriff's dispatchers or Crime Stoppers at 498-STOP.
