AG Sessions speaks in Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, California - Attorney General Jeff Sessions spoke in Sacramento Wednesday morning asking the state to "stop actively obstructing federal law enforcement."

Sessions made the remarks at the 26th Annual Law Enforcement Legislative Day, hosted by the California Peace Officers Association.

Tuesday, the Department of Justice announced plans to sue the State of California over its sanctuary state law. 

Fresno County Sheriff Margaret Mims is expected to meet with AG Sessions Wednesday.
