A dozen homes evacuated after a weed mower sparks a fire

Fresno, Calif. - At least 20 acres were burned by a brush fire in Fresno Tuesday afternoon.  Crews were called to the area of Blythe Avenue near McKinley.

A dozen homes in the area were evacuated while firefighters mopped up the blaze.  Some fences were burned but no homes were damaged.

Fire investigators say the blaze was started by a weed mower and say to use extreme caution when using these type of tools.
