2 suspects at large, four arrested in connection to gun theft

FRESNO, California - Four men are in custody for stealing 50 guns from a Fresno firearms store.

Officials have arrested 21-year-old Nathan Creel, 23-year-old James Britt, 40-year-old Luis Galvan and 21-year-old Johnny Sanchez.

Police say they broke into the PRK firearms store on Clovis ave. on October 20th.

Multiple police agencies helped the Fresno Police Department in serving search warrants, including Modesto, Turlock, Clovis police and the Stanislaus County. Sheriff's Department. 

The four men were arrested in Stanislaus County. Authorities seized two guns and a rifle this morning. 25 of the stolen guns are hand guns and 25 are rifles. Police believe some of the guns may have been sold after finding nearly $4,000 in cash.

Dyer says several suspects broke into the front door of PRK Arms with bolt cutters.
The security cameras in the store weren't operational according to Dyer. Surveillance video was provided by the business next door.

Modesto police learned Johnny Sanchez was on probation and wore a GPS ankle monitor; that's how detectives learned he had cased the area the night before the burglary, of the 50 firearms stolen. 

Police are still looking for two outstanding suspects, 51-year-old David Avina and 52-year-old Dolores Garza.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $3,000 reward for information leading to their arrest or the recovery of 47 remaining guns.
