There is a disturbing trend in Madera County. Teenage parties so out of control they're deadly.
They're called Fusion Parties and they're tied to two murders in the last month alone.
18-year-old Drakkar Lewis was shot to death over the weekend while sitting in his car with his girlfriend outsite a party.
The underground party is a fusion of teenagers, alcohol, drugs, and fights.
Detectives say Lewis threw a similar party in Fairmead a few weeks ago where another teen was killed.
Madera County Sheriff John Anderson said, "This may have been some kind of a payback for him holding that party and letting it get out of hand, or blaming somebody for the homicide. We're not sure."
The party flyer is promoted on social media and gives a phone number that people have to call to find out where to go... and hundreds show up.
So far, two Chowchilla men have been arrested in connection to the party in Fairmead but there are still no suspects in custody for this latest homicide.
