A big cooling trend is on the way for Central California. Temperatures will steadily cool steadily this week and end up about 10-degrees below normal by the Thursday. An area of low pressure will move inland from the ocean dropping high temperatures into the upper 80s and low 90s Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The weather will remain dry in the valley but the high Sierra has a chance of thunderstorms Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
