The manhunt continues 60 miles southeast of Sacramento for a suspect who is accused of murdering an 8-year-old girl over the weekend.
The girl's brother tells the CBS13 News Sacramento that he found his dead sister Saturday afternoon inside the family's Valley Springs home in Calaveras County.
Investigators collected fingerprints and possibly DNA from the home where Leila Fowler was attacked and killed.
The suspect is described as white or Hispanic, 6-feet-tall and is believed to be armed and dangerous.
Authorities are hoping to have lab results on the evidence found in about a week.
