The American Cancer Society is doing a long-term cancer study and they are looking for volunteers from the Central Valley.
The American Cancer Society’s Epidemiology Research Program is inviting men and women between the ages of 30 and 65 years who have never personally been diagnosed with cancer to join this historic study.
This is the third long-term study done by the American Cancer Society. The first linked cigarette smoking to lung cancer and the second linked obesity to increased cancer risks and daily aspirin to reduced risk of dying from cancer.
The Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3) is a 20-30 year program and looks to eliminate cancer as a major health problem.
