The $60,000 grant from Kaiser will all the following pools to open June 17th through August 18th:

Fink-White Neighborhood Center
535 S. Trinity Street / near Whitesbridge Ave 

Einstein Neighborhood Center
3566 E Dakota Ave / at Millbrook Ave

Quigley Neighborhood Center
808 W. Dakota / Fruit and Dakota

Romain Neighborhood Center
745 N. First / between Belmont & Olive

The pools will be open daily from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Kaiser Permanente Fresno grant will provide funding to Fresno United Neighborhoods "FUN", a non-profit organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life in Fresno, to help maintain and staff the pools. The grant also will provide free morning swim lessons for neighborhood children at each of the four pools. 

This summer swim program - called "Splash into a Safe and Healthy Summer" - is expected to provide 25,000 Fresno children with a safe and healthy place to exercise and stay busy during the summer months. More than 500 children will benefit from the free swim lessons, which also will emphasize water safety.
