There is a free spaghetti dinner at Sandy's County Junction on Saturday, June 22nd.
Donations will be taken at the dinner to raise money to help purchase rehabilitation equipment for the Fresno VA Hospital.
The fundraiser is part of a year-long effort to raise $15,000.
Part of the funds will also be used to add another name of a Valley soldier to the monument outside Sandy's Country Junction. Army Spc. Thomas Mayberry attended Clovis schools and was killed in action December 3, 2011.
The dinner takes place at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 22nd. There are no tickets but registration is required. You can RSVP by calling (559) 298-1951.
Sandy's Country Junction is on Clovis Avenue at 5th Street in Clovis.
