Fresno's hot streak ended on Tuesday when the high failed to reach 100-degrees capping the long stretch of triple-digit highs at 19 days.

The 19-day period tied for the fourth longest number of consecutive days at or above 100-degrees in Fresno.

Triple-digits highs began on June 27 when the maximum temperature reached 101-degrees and ended on July 15 with a high of 100-degrees.

The hottest temperature was 109-degrees reached on June 30 and again on July 9.

The average high temperature over the period was 104.63-degrees.

The high on Tuesday was 95-degrees thanks to cooler air blowing in from the California coast and Wednesday will be 99-degrees.

100's return Thursday and stick around through early next week with the hottest temperature in Fresno expected on Sunday at 108-degrees.
