In recognition of the Central San Joaquin Valley?s observance of the 9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance, you are invited to sponsor the Human Race and Sunrise Festival which will be held in the heart of downtown Fresno at the historic Water Tower and the Veteran?s Memorial Building.
The Human Race, also a national event, has had proven success as a fundraiser and continues to grow in popularity each year. This 5k run with a 2-mile Walk and Roll for families is a collaborative community fundraiser that supports the mission of local organizations. It is also designed to raise awareness about volunteerism and service to the community.
brings together the best of Fresno's healthy activities for both young
and old, including art, music, food, and service in a celebration of
Fresno?s human spirit. Funds may be raised for any non-profit (501c3)
organization, government agency, school, or church who has
registered for the event with HandsOn Central California. Businesses may support organizations by recruiting walkers and raising funds for their favorite organization.
Participating nonprofits receive 100% of all monies
collected on their behalf. HandsOn Central California provides marketing and experienced event and volunteer management assistance to coordinate and stage the event. Nonprofits and supporting businesses provide the people power and the passion to be the Change.
There will also be an opportunity to sponsor a piece of art.
VolARTeers (8ft sculptures, for sponsorship and customization) are
available to promote your business, your favorite organization, and/or
activity. They will be placed along the route. Your will have the
opportunity to own a unique piece of art for your lobby, or you
may donate it at the conclusion of the race to be auctioned for the benefit of HandsOn Central California to continue to support the community with volunteers.
In alignment with HandsOn?s mission to support organizations through volunteerism, the nonprofit that fields the most registered participants will receive an additional $2,500 for their cause.Thank you for your consideration of sponsoring this great community event.
